Dessie Armstrong Obituary, Death – A beloved brother, uncle, and respected member of the Enniskillen community, Desmond George Armstrong, affectionately known as “Dessie,” peacefully passed away today, and the Drumroo community in Lisbellaw is mourning his loss. Dessie’s cherished sister Joy, nephews Craig and Noel, and the rest of the family will carry his memory with them always. He had strong relationships with his loved ones and cared deeply for them, which demonstrated his unfaltering commitment to family. The Armstrong household will maintain its secrecy out of respect for the family’s privacy. But family and friends can visit the funeral home at Drumclay Park North, Enniskillen, on Sunday from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. to pay their respects.
The funeral for Dessie will take place on Monday at 1:00 pm from the Enniskillen Independent Methodist Church, with a moving service celebrating his life. Burial will follow at Maguiresbridge Parish Churchyard. You can remember Dessie by making a donation to the caring staff at Gillbrooke Nursing Home in his honor. Because of the deep hole he has created in the lives of those who knew and loved Dessie in Enniskillen, his departure has been a devastating blow.
