His professional journey led him through various companies across the country, marking him as a dedicated worker. Richard was a man of diverse interests. His love for UK Basketball, horses, NASCAR, Stock Car racing, VHF/DVD movies, and unique collectibles like guns, knives, watches, and model cars showcased his vibrant personality.

Recognizable for always having a Chocolate Tootsie roll sucker in his mouth, Richard was known for his friendly demeanor and his fondness for engaging conversations. His daily breakfast ritual with the Hardy’s Social Breakfast Group in Glasgow was a cherished routine that brought him joy.

Family was paramount to Richard. He is survived by his loving children: Richard Wayne Nunn, Sandy Kay Richey, Timothy Clay Nunn, Jerry Glen Nunn, and stepson Rodney Dale Payne, along with their respective spouses. His numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren were a source of pride and joy.

Richard’s life was marked by the loss of significant family members, including his sister Carol Nunn and both his ex-wives, who were mothers to his children. As he is laid to rest at Poplar Log Cemetery in a graveside service facilitated by Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, the Glasgow community and his family bid farewell to a beloved member whose vibrant spirit and love for life will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
