Roscoe ‘Junior’ May Jr. Obituary, Death – The beloved resident of Bergoo, West Virginia, Roscoe “Junior” May Jr., said his goodbyes on December 1, 2023, while he was surrounded by the comfort of his home. The journey that Junior took through his life was marked by a profound dedication to his family and a strong work ethic. Junior was born on January 13, 1944 in Neon, Kentucky.

Junior devoted his life to working in the mining and logging industries after completing his honorable service in the United States Army from 1966 to 1968. Not only did he find solace in his professional endeavors, but he also found solace in the simple pleasures that he enjoyed, such as the time he spent playing poker and the time he spent with his family. Roscoe and Elsie Peters May, Junior’s parents, as well as his siblings Tommy May and Shirley Young, passed away before Junior. Junior was the last surviving member of his family.

To his three daughters, Debbie Dorsey (Dave), Carol Vasquez (Joe), and Connie Dunlap (Shawn), he leaves behind a treasured legacy that will be carried on by them.
